Book this Hotel for Your Wedding!

"We had our wedding in Garryvoe Hotel on 4th May and our guests are still raving about it! From the very first day we saw the Garryvoe Hotel, we knew it was the venue for us. We met with Ben and he explained everything so clearly to us. Right through the planning, Ben and all the staff were so helpful and were always on hand to answer any queries we had. The menu tasting was a brilliant night, and they really made us feel so welcome! On the day itself, everything ran so smoothly. You just know that these guys are professionals and really know how to organise a wedding. The meal was fantastic and all the staff (from breakfast staff to the bar man on the residents bar) were so friendly.

A special thanks to Ben, Aidan and Brendan for keeping the show running on the day. We would also like to thank Liz, who took such wonderful care of us at the top table. I cant forget to mention Laura also, who has such a brilliant personality and made people feel so welcome at reception. Any potential wedding couples reading this - I would 100% recommend the Garryvoe Hotel for your big day.
We cant wait to return for a weekend break. Thanks! Mr and Mrs O Connell"

My favourite hotel in Ireland

"Fabulous family break. This hotel has it all. Sometimes seaside hotels are a bit “seasonal” in look and vibe.
This is the opposite - a beautiful, stylish, designer 4 star hotel directly opposite the beach and playground.

We cycled the Waterford greenway, just 30 minutes away. We had a spacious family bedroom with corner balcony with fab views.
Will be back again next year. This was our second visit."

Great service

"I visited the restaurant at Garryvoe today with a group of 16 including children. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Liz in particular was fantastic, arranging a special desert for one of our party who’s birthday it was.

After lunch some of our party sat in the cosy bar while others walked down to the beach to let the kids run about. This is a great venue for a family gathering, with a super friendly and flexible staff, great sea front location, comfortable surroundings and great food."

Wedding - "Our whole experience of the Garryvoe, from the first day we viewed it to the day we were checking out after our wedding, was absolutely seamless and so enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble for the event manager, Ben, and he was always quick to reply to my email queries (and trust me, there were a lot!!) All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, our guests are STILL talking about the food ... I personally strongly recommend the chocolate marquis for dessert ... and the reception room itself was elegant. I would not change a thing looking back, my only regret is not spending more time in the magnificent honeymoon suite!! Highly recommend the Garryvoe for your wedding, and a major bonus is it wont break the bank!"

Should be a 5 star!! - "Having to come to Ireland for 2 days business. My PA found this hotel. Without sounding like a prat, I normally stay in 5 star hotels because the company I own pays for it. The Garryvoe is not 5 star, but acts/looks and feels like a 5 star hotel. The staff fantastic, very clean rooms, the décor is 10/10, the interior designer should get an award. Food 10/10 after long day, had the Irish hamburger room service, just delicious! Highly recommend the Irish breakfast. Having travelled around the world, and being in a very privilege position to stay in the top hotels. I just love it when I go to a place like the Garryvoe Hotel. A hotel that will go further than the rest to be the best. Family's, couples, business trips - Garryvoe has everyone covered. Thank you for a wonder stay at a one off hotel. Worth every Euro."

A great break - "We stayed here for 2 nights with one dinner included. Great value for money with lovely breakfasts, a lovely dinner and great staff. Bedroom was spacious. Full marks to all of the staff. Two nights wasn't long enough!"

A very professional and friendly hotel - "I stayed for a few nights and this lovely hotel overlooking the beach and the sea. The staff could not have been more helpful and were very friendly. A well run hotel with excellent service. The breakfast service was outstanding Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room and if there is availability you will not be disappointed."

"It's been two weeks since we had our amazing wedding at Garryvoe Hotel. They honestly are the nicest people to deal with and no request we made that was too much for them. From the initial meeting until checkout after the wedding, we felt like we were special. Ben, Ann, Liz and all the staff we dealt with were so nice. I couldn't recommend them enough, we knew we were safe in their hands. Megan"

"To Stephen, Andre, Ben and all the staff at the Garryvoe Hotel - a big thank you to all for making our wedding day extra special and for all your hard work and help coming up to and on the day of the wedding. Everybody was very helpful and the service was excellent. People are still talking to us about the lovely meal and the beautiful ballroom. Thank you again. Hope you all have a happy and peaceful Christmas and best wishes for 2014."

"To Andrzej and all the staff at the Garryvoe Hotel. We cannot thank you enough for all the time and effort you put in to making our day absolutely perfect. We cannot recommend the place highly enough. Some of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to - so relaxed and so much fun and when they asked the secret, our answer, without a second thought was - the venue. Of course we think we had a great crowd too, but honestly, the hotel was fantastic. Some wedding guests have already been back and others have said they have trips planned to Garryvoe Hotel. From our first meeting a year and a half before the day, up to when we left 3 days later, there was not one thing we could find fault with. Thanks again!"

"THE Best! My new wife and I got married in the Garryvoe Hotel recently. I cannot begin to say how brilliant this hotel is. From the moment we walked in to discuss what was possible when we met Mr Belton, all the way through to the week of the wedding there was a feeling that we were in the best hands possible. That feeling came through on the day and can only be described as a fairytale day. The staff make this hotel special. From the front of house staff to the managers including Stephen Belton, Ben, Maura and the unbelievable Andrzej - nothing was impossible. There are so many names that need to be mentioned but its the complete team. The meal was outstanding, the outstanding attention to detail will live with us forever. We are so thankful we chose the Garryvoe Hotel and if anyone reading this is unsure - go for it, they will not let you down! Top class."

"Beautiful Hotel - Great Location. We stayed here for three nights and were blessed with good weather. It was our first visit here and we were highly impressed. Check in with Laura was professional & friendly. Our room was on 4th floor, side view to sea (Perhaps if tops of palm tress were trimmed view would be better, just a suggestion). The room was spacious and clean. We ate in the bar each evening, served by Adam first evening, very pleasant young man, it was very busy but Adam had a friendly word & smile for all. We were served by John on the other two evenings and again he was most pleasant & efficient. Food on all evenings was first class so well done "Mr Chef ". At breakfast we met Pauline, a lovely lady, an asset to the hotel and a mindful of information with regard to local sights. Thanks Pauline. We were served by Liz on our last morning, another lovely lady, pleasant & efficient. We did visit the leisure centre, lovely pool & outdoor tub was very enjoyable. We had a most enjoyable stay at the Garryvoe Hotel, would highly recommend this hotel & look forward to returning. Thank you to all staff, keep up the good work, you all do a great job."

"3 DAY FAMILY BREAK. Superb. We had a fantastic time in the Garyvoe Hotel. We had a short family break with two boys (ages 6 and 8) and they loved it. As a family we are lucky to have traveled around 20 counties. There are only 3 places in the world that I would go back to in the morning: the first is in Mexico, the second is in Sharam Al Sheik and the third is the Garyvoe Hotel in Ireland. All the staff were fantastic, but one stands out, a Gentleman, a quiet unasuming person: Dennis Conway. Denis will jump thru hoops for your clients, he is a gem. Needless to say, the Garyvoe Hotel is one of our top three. I just had a call from the Garryvoe Hotel to let us know that they have posted two items our kids left behind ..."

"Wonderful stay. We had a large family gathering to celebrate an anniversary. All family members were extremely happy with the hotel. There is a large parking area onsite. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Free Wi-Fi is also available. The rooms were nicely decorated. The bathroom were slightly dated, stand into bath in order to use the shower. There was plenty hot water available and Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We had a room to the back - facing the car park, where as other family members had front facing rooms with sea views. We ate in the bar (café) on the first night - good menu and all very nice. There is a separate bar (cave bar), which reminded me of an old mans bar. We ate in the restaurant the 2nd night and had a set menu, but 4 choices for each course available. Breakfast was help yourself to cereals etc. and then full the Irish was served. There was a swimming pool and hot tub available. The Hotel was spotless throughout and all staff friendly. The manager was also very nice and helpful. The Hotel itself is right next to the beach. There are plenty places (attractions) to visit by car (close by). Visit this hotel, you won't be disappointed."
